Jakarta – Sinergi Digital, in collaboration with Metrodata Academy, recently held an exclusive event titled “Achieving Governance and Compliance in the Secure Implementation of Enterprise-Grade Artificial Intelligence Across All Infrastructures” on Tuesday, May 19, 2026, at Discovery SCBD, Jakarta.

This invitation-only event successfully brought together decision-makers, IT leaders, and representatives from public sector organizations, including government, business entities, universities, and NGOs, to explore the safe, responsible, and regulatory-compliant implementation of AI.

The keynote speakers delivered presentations based on their areas of expertise:

  • Dr. Ir. Hammam Riza, M.Sc., IPU., President of KORIKA, outlined Indonesia’s AI regulatory approach and the importance of a policy foundation that supports innovation while ensuring national security and compliance.
  • Hairil Izwan J., CompTIA’s Regional Director for Southeast Asia, and Goutama Bachtiar, CompTIA Subject Matter Expert, outlined the AI learning and certification roadmap needed to build human resource competencies in Indonesia to prepare them for the era of enterprise AI.

  • Dhewa Yoga, a representative of Sinergi Digital, shared various real-life use cases the company has worked on and is currently working on in AI projects across various sectors, providing a practical overview of the challenges and successes of implementation in the field.

The event, which ran from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. WIB, discussed four main topics: the foundations for standardized AI implementation, safe and controlled AI integration practices, compliance with AI regulations and governance, and AI adoption strategies in the public sector.

The interactive closing session at the end of the event included a dynamic workshop and panel discussion. Participants enthusiastically asked many questions and shared experiences regarding the AI challenges faced by their respective companies and organizations. This discussion provided a valuable platform for exchanging insights and solutions among practitioners.

“We were very pleased to see the high level of enthusiasm from the participants. The discussion and workshop at the end of the session demonstrated that the need for in-depth knowledge regarding the governance and implementation of safe AI is increasingly pressing in Indonesia,” said Dhewa, who moderated the workshop session at the end of the event.

This event, fully supported by KORIKA, CompTIA, and Microsoft, strengthens collaboration between the government, industry, and technology providers to accelerate the responsible adoption of AI in the country.

With the success of this event, it is hoped that more organizations in Indonesia will be able to implement AI strategically, safely, and in accordance with applicable regulations.
